Have you longed for a place to discuss rules and what to do with rule breakers or game chat etiquette in general?
Would you like to discuss game ideas and get some feedback before starting a new game?
Do you just need a place to hang out, have a cOOkie and congratulate someone on a great (or stupid) move?
Welcome then to the opening night of the Game's Forum exclusive ChitChat Café. Quote

Maybe one number game that only allows for years/events, one that excludes years to be used ...
I'd love a 'sports' game. One where everybody gets a certain amount of gols/points at the beginning of a 'season' that (s)he can use in each 'game/round' against a certain other player. Additional gols could be earned for winning a game or the season, so that it stays dynamic. I guess you have never heard of Mulfball (seems to be only known in Germany but has a huge participation by now with a first and 2nd league)?
Thing is that in the forum it will be public in a series and no secret setting of gols is possible ... any suggestions or experiences?
What about a kinky truth or dare kind of game? There is this older "sex dice" thread, the idea isn't bad, but it needs some polishing.
Aaaaaand on my crazy wishlist is a book club ... A simple "I am reading this right now" or "I have read this book", "What I like about it is" etc.
It's getting late here. No cOOkie crumbles on the couch yet? I'll roll up here then ... Nighty night!
Edit: lol, I lived too long in crazy about football Spain ... gol [esp] = goal Quote

I don't see the point in using a website to find rare and obscure words that most of us would never have heard of
I had never heard of the word 'ziggurat', for example, and I doubt that you had. Apparently a ziggurat is a form of temple common to the Sumerians, Babylonians and Assyrians of ancient Mesopotamia - not the sort of word that would come up in everyday conversation Quote

I "cheat" and make a short list the same when we had "oak" rhymes .
I do check spelling . I do that with some of the 4 letter words .
My great great granddaughter taught me about Urban Dictionary . Seems 1/2 those words are words I never heard of - less use them .
I guess I am 1 or 2 generations older than most who play forum games .
The game ENCOURAGES to change the rhyme when ANYONE has had enough of 1 rhyme .
ourjeffie TWO time Rhyme Champion . Please select new word or I will when I play tomorrow afternoon . Quote

You can't select a new word because currently you are banned from the game. Chris and I will determine when a new word is to be selected
I too use sites to find words, and make my own short lists, but I would never post an obscure word like 'ziggurat'

I am at the age I have to be active or lose it .
When I saw capitol letters and names/places used , I used what word I did find .
When Chris was having problems with oak rhymes , I looked at a couple sites .
We barely used 1/2 the words due to my early mistake .
I play for fun and did not try to make a mistake . Mistakes are normal for me .
Urban Dictionary words open my eyes and so much my brain . I was shocked at a few .
I find those words good to use in Kinky word game .
I loved the combinations of "folk" words in oak rhymes . I had not seen those words used since 1950s .
Thank you for giving valuable input . Quote

LickaU, it's a bit of a stretch to suggest I was 'upset' that you posted 'ziggurat'. What I said was that I didn't see the point in using a website to find rare and obscure words to post, and 'ziggurat' was just an example of an obscure word. I had never heard the word before, but apparently you had. Clearly you are more erudite than me Quote

1. I don't see the point in posting something here if it has already been posted elsewhere;
2. I agree, of course, that anyone can join in the Games threads;
3. I don't believe I have ever got into a "huff and puff" over posts in the games threads;
4. I agree, of course, that everyone's opinion counts for something, as long as that opinion in not in contravention of the facts or the rules Quote

You simply copy and paste the link ... doesn't work with picutres or other sites. ONLY links on the flirt website become actual links Quote
